Regrettably, this walk has been cancelled due to the prevailing weather conditions.
This walk will take in the landscape that perhaps inspired Bruce Chatwin’s novel `On the Black Hill`. It’s a story of twin brothers Lewis and Benjamin Jones, growing up on their isolated upland farm, The Vision, in the early 20th Century. A farmhouse of this name still exists, having recently undergone a major regeneration. This strenuous route takes in Hay Bluff, The Cat’s Back, Olchon Valley, Capel y ffin and Twmpa.
